Background:
This application applies to chapter 7 individual debtors only.
The bankruptcy court may waive the filing fee in an individual debtor's chapter 7 case if the court determines that such individual:

Has income of less than 150% of the income official poverty line (applicable to a similarly-size family), and
-
Is unable to pay the fee in installments
Official Form 103B
Those seeking a waiver of the fee must complete and file Official Form 103B (and check the appropriate box on the petition).
Step-by-Step Procedures:

Enter case number and click Next

Select Waive Chapter 7 Filing Fee (Form 103B) from pick list and click Next

Select Debtor(s) from party pick list

Click Next
The Attorney / Party Association screen may display.

Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate document/file

The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
